Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PakFound ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the PakFound platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not access or use the platform.

Platform Overview

PakFound is a platform designed to help people in Pakistan report, search for, and reunite with lost or found items. We provide the tools and infrastructure to connect individuals, but we are not directly involved in the transactions or exchanges between users.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

User Responsibilities

Content Standards

When posting content on PakFound, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information about lost or found items
• Not post content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Not post content that is offensive, harassing, or discriminatory
• Not post content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Not use the platform for illegal purposes or activities
• Not impersonate another person or entity

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the platform to scam, defraud, or deceive other users
• Post fake lost or found items
• Claim items that do not belong to you
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools or scripts without permission
• Collect user data without consent
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

Item Verification and Ownership

When claiming a found item or returning a lost item:

• You must verify ownership through appropriate evidence
• You should meet in safe, public locations when exchanging items
• PakFound is not responsible for verifying ownership claims
• You agree to exercise reasonable caution in all interactions

PakFound does not guarantee the accuracy of item descriptions or the legitimacy of ownership claims. Users are responsible for verifying items and identities before arranging exchanges.

Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Content

All content, features, and functionality on the PakFound platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by PakFound and are protected by intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on PakFound. However, by posting content, you grant PakFound a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting our services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAKFOUND DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of information
• Warranties that the platform is free from viruses or harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAKFOUND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damages arising from interactions between users
• Loss or theft of items during exchanges
• Fraudulent activities by other users
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account

IN NO EVENT SHALL PAKFOUND'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, OR PKR 1,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PakFound and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Providing false information
• Behavior that harms other users or the platform

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Karachi, Pakistan, or through the courts of Pakistan as applicable.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
